Lunch

Here you find some of the traditional homemade recipes that I enjoy cooking for lunch. Each dish reflects my love for fresh, wholesome ingredients and time-honored Italian cooking methods, creating comforting meals that are both satisfying and full of flavor. I take care to prepare every component from scratch—whether it’s a slow-simmered sauce, oven-roasted vegetables, or hand-rolled pasta—because I believe that attention to detail yields the best results.

For every recipe, I thoughtfully select fresh produce, high-quality olive oil, and perfectly seasoned toppings, such as a sprinkle of aged Parmesan, aromatic herbs, or a drizzle of homemade pesto. These finishing touches add depth and bring out the natural flavors of the main ingredients, ensuring each dish is both visually appealing and delicious.

The diverse soils, ranging from free-draining alluvial and silt to clay loams, contribute to a broad spectrum of aromas and flavors. 9. As the chicken and potatoes does not reflect to be an expensive or very fine dish, the decision is to go for an average wine instead of picking a expensive one. Vermentino is the choice for a refined palate.
Sabbia Vermentino Di Sardegna is a crisp, vibrant white wine from Sardinia, Italy. It features a pale straw color and aromas of citrus, green apple, and white flowers. On the palate, enjoy lively acidity with flavors of lemon zest, pear, and a touch of minerality. With its medium body and clean, refreshing finish, this wine pairs beautifully with seafood, light pasta, and salads—making it a versatile choice for any occasion.

  10. As usual I also would like to offer a cheaper version to still give the opportunity to taste a good wine with great food. An alternative to the Vermentino is the Sauvignon Blanc which soften a light fruit flavour to a distinctive palate.

🍴 Serving Suggestions

  • Serve with a crisp glass of Pinot Grigio or Vermentino.
  • Pair with crusty Italian bread or garlic bruschetta.
  • Add a simple green salad for balance.

🥡 Storage & Leftovers
