Ingredients
  

  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 ball mozzarella diced
  • 250 g cherry tomatoes halved
  • 2 cans tuna drained
  • 500 g Pasta I prefer penne or spiral
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil extra virgin
  • 30 g Salt and black pepper 20g is only for the water use to boil pasta

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve ½ cup pasta water.
  2. While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté garlic for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. Add cherry tomatoes and cook for 3–4 minutes until slightly softened.

  4. Stir in tuna and cook for another 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

  5. Toss cooked pasta with the tuna-tomato mixture, adding reserved pasta water if needed for a silky sauce.
  6. Add mozzarella and fresh basil. Gently mix and serve immediately. Buon Appetito!
